About Me

Originally From: Abingdon, Maryland

Interests:  My personal interests are: reading (favorite books of 2021: Becoming by Michelle Obama & Planet of Slums by Mike Davis), fitness & sports (favorite sports: football & wrestling), personal finance & investing, and music.

Relevant Experience: My professional interests are corporate finance, private equity, transaction advisory, and law (I'm thinking about law school). I previously completed two co-ops, first at Anderson LLC as their Corporate Tax co-op, and my second was at Goldman Sachs as their Consumer & Investment Management Division's Private Wealth Management Financial Analyst co-op. This past summer, I also worked in J.P Morgan's Corporate & Investment Banking Division as a Summer Analyst. After graduation, I will be traveling to China as a part of the Schwarzman Scholars Program.

Interest in CMC: I decided to join CMC because I thought it would be a great way to learn a lot about China in a relatively short period of time. I will be studying in China soon and I want to gain as much background knowledge as possible so I can understand the things I learn in China on a more profound level. Additionally, I really wanted to be a part of a founding team and captain the research effort!

Favorite thing about CMC: My favorite thing about CMC has been the sense of freedom it has given me in the pursuit of my academic and professional interests. I feel like I am simultaneously the student and the teacher, and I have really enjoyed that. I am most looking forward to publishing a really well-done series of insightful research reports that I hope you get the chance to read!

If you have any questions/concerns about CMC or are simply looking to connect, please do not hesitate to reach out - I'd love to speak with you!
